MOON
Moon is the 48th stage of Into the Future Ch.2. Previous stage: Floating Continent.
The Chapter 2 Moon has two bosses, and they arrive on two different clocks. Corrupted Valkyrie comes out when the enemy base drops to 70%. She's Alien and Floating, with 350 range, fast area hits, and double attack power once she's below 40% HP. Elizabeth the LVIth arrives at 6:40 however the fight is going, and every 6:40 after that. She's a Wave attacker, and her Waves take out your meatshield line. Without Wave immunity you can't win this in one run. The no-gacha plan splits it in two: do as much damage to Valkyrie as you can before Elizabeth takes over, then finish her after a Cat Food continue.
The lineup that does it
Nine units and one slot left open. That keeps the Cat CPU from running dry, and you can fill it with anything Wave-immune or a Wave Blocker if you own one. The meatshields are Crazed Macho Cat, Eraser Cat, Macho Cat and Crazed Wall Cat. Eraser Cat is close to essential. Macho Leg Cat has to be the True Form: Sexy Legs Cat doesn't do extra damage to Aliens, Macho Leg Cat does, and it stacks at range. Dragon Cat, at 400 range, is the one unit here that outranges Valkyrie, and a stack of them hits hard. Crazed Whale Cat and Crazed Mythical Titan Cat are the tanky melee units that walk up to Elizabeth and kill her. Crazed Bahamut is the main damage, and this whole plan is built around his shots.
Treasures and items
This stage is where Into the Future treasures matter most. Get the Aqua Crystal and Plasma Crystal to Superior in both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 before you try it. Every enemy here is an unstarred Alien, and each crystal takes their stats down a step. Every Empire of Cats treasure at Superior too. Bring Rich Cat, because the clock is running from the first second and there's no time to level your Worker Cat. Bring Cat CPU, Sniper the Cat, and Speed Up, since this takes many restarts. And have 30 Cat Food ready for the continue; with 60, the second half is much easier.
Part one: a Legs stack, then lure her in
Turn the CPU off at the start. Put out three meatshields and lots of Macho Leg Cats, plus Dragons, and let the stack grow as it kills the Kroxos and the Imperator Saels. Turn Speed Up off during the fight. It speeds up the clock too, and the clock is what you're racing. When you have Bahamut's money, don't send him yet. Walk up and take the base to 70% so Valkyrie comes out. Then hold your line near your own side and let her come to you. Mistress Celeboodles come out too, and they pay well when they die. When Valkyrie is close, put down a few slow meatshields to mark your ground and turn the CPU on.

Get her under 40%, or restart
With the CPU on, keep an eye out: if it stops putting out meatshields, put them out yourself. A good Bahamut shot knocks Valkyrie right back, and that's the sign of a run worth keeping. When Bahamut dies, turn the CPU off, since the rest of the lineup does badly on its own. Kill Celeboodles for money, and turn the CPU back on when Bahamut is almost recharged. The mark to watch is Valkyrie powering up, which happens at 40% HP. If a run doesn't reach it, force-close and try again. When Elizabeth arrives, stop sending meatshields, because her Waves wipe them out. Send only the tanky units (Crazed Whale, Legs) and do as much damage as you can until you lose.

The continue
Take the continue only once Valkyrie has powered up, meaning she's under 40% HP. This clear continued at 36%. It fills your wallet and you keep your items. Turn the CPU on straight away and give yourself room, then hope the first Bahamut shot lands. A continued run can be force-closed too, and should be if Bahamut doesn't survive killing Elizabeth. Keep a finger over pause. When Bahamut goes down after Elizabeth, turn the CPU off and play the dry spell by hand: only three meatshields (Eraser, Macho, Crazed Wall), Macho Legs and Dragons, and nothing else, even when money piles up. You're stalling for Bahamut's recharge. When he's back, put the CPU on and protect him with every meatshield. He lands the last blows.

The wiki's plan, and this one
The wiki's advice for this chapter fits: collect all the Aqua and Plasma Crystals first, and use ranged attackers that don't cost much, ideally with more than 350 range. Mix single-target ones (King Dragon, Crazed Dragon, Sexy Bathtub) with area ones (Drama Cats, Crazed Sexy Legs, Bahamut). Its tip for the push applies here too: when you approach the base, hold your fast meatshields back for a moment, or they stack up, clog the unit limit, and leave a hole in your line. This clear is the bare-minimum version. Every one of those units makes it easier.

Units that skip the continue
A Wave Blocker is the biggest upgrade. With Octopus Cat in Crazed Whale's slot, Elizabeth's Waves stop mattering and players clear this in one run without Cat Food. Drama Cats outrange Valkyrie by 5 (355 against 350) and can keep her pinned at her own base. Psychocat outranges her too, and it's one of the few Rare anti-Floating units that does. Ururun Cat is a strong swap for Bahamut. Castaway Cat's Freeze sounds right, but she outranges it.
THE SHORT VERSIONSuperior Aqua and Plasma Crystals in both chapters first. Build a Macho Leg stack, take the base to 70%, and lure Valkyrie in with the CPU. Keep only runs that get her under 40% before Elizabeth takes over. Continue once she's under 40%, then force-close until Bahamut survives Elizabeth, and stall with three meatshields, Legs and Dragons until he's back. An Octopus Cat makes it one run.
In Chapter 2, 6 of the 9 enemies are at 250%. The boss, Corrupted Valkyrie, is at 100%. Compared with Chapter 1, Imperator Sael, Scissoroo, Mistress Celeboodle and Corrupted Valkyrie are new, and Hyppoh, Cli-One, Helmut Krabbe and Maawth are gone. The enemy base has 450,000 HP here, against 300,000 in Chapter 1 and 600,000 in Chapter 3.

Alien/Floating boss of the Moon in Into the Future Chapter 2. She also appears on Floor 41 of the Heavenly and Infernal Towers and in Zero Legends' Muddy Fjord. She attacks fast with area hits, and her attack power doubles below 40% HP. She outranges most Rare and Super Rare anti-Floating/Alien Cats (Shaman, Bishop, Surfer, Bodhisattva), but not Psychocat. Collect every anti-unstarred Alien Treasure before you fight her.
⚙ Trait counters worked out from the roster — the guide's plan doesn't need them; kept for reference
Corrupted Valkyrie is Alien. Anti-Alien units take less damage and deal more.
Corrupted Valkyrie is Floating. Anti-Floating units take less damage and deal more.
Corrupted Valkyrie reaches 350 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Corrupted Valkyrie has a deep HP pool (555,555+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
9 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
