THE GREAT ABYSS
The Great Abyss is the 24th stage of Into the Future Ch.2. Previous stage: Australia. Next stage: Madagascar.
Galactic Overseer Nyandam sits on the field from the first second. He has 600 range, farther than anything you own, and a slow, heavy area hit that also Slows. He isn't what makes this stage hard, though. The Cyberhorns are: over 400,000 HP each even with the treasures you can have by now, heavy hits, but tiny range and very slow. One arrives at 0:40 and another at 1:40, and after that they come in pairs, at 3:20 and at 5:33. Each wave of Cyberhorns is a fight you have to win with the whole army, while Nyandam chips at you from behind them.
The lineup that does it
Ten units, no capsule units. The four meatshields are Eraser Cat, Crazed Macho Cat, Samba Cat and Crazed Wall Cat. Skip Rover Cat even if you own it: Nyandam and Mistress Celeboodle hit so hard that it dies like any cheap meatshield. Macho Leg Cat has to be the True Form at 20+10, because Sexy Legs Cat has nothing against Aliens. Crazed Whale Cat is cheap, effective, and survives a Nyandam hit. Whale Cat is there as a no-gacha filler, and it's the first slot to give to Neo Psychocat or Castaway Cat if you have them. The Paris slot takes Mother Cat when you have no Paris. Mother Cat is bought with Cat Food from the Special Cats, and she's much weaker. Dragon Cat is the long-range hitter, and a big anti-Alien Uber can take its place. Keep Crazed Bahamut whatever you swap: he's saved for the Cyberhorn pairs.
Treasures and items
The one treasure that decides this stage is the Aqua Crystal from Into the Future Chapter 1 at Superior. It makes every attack on these Aliens much stronger. The rest of Into the Future barely matters here, although you want every treasure eventually. Bring Sniper the Cat: knocking Nyandam back just as he starts to swing cancels his attack, and runs without it go noticeably worse. Rich Cat lets you push from the first second instead of slowly building your Worker Cat.
The start: cheap units only
With Rich Cat, send Crazed Macho Cat and Macho Leg Cat immediately, then the Whales. Keep them coming at a steady rate, stay off the expensive units, and start chipping at Nyandam. Without Rich Cat, go slower: one cheap meatshield, then Macho Legs and Crazed Whale, just enough to kill the peons while the Worker Cat levels up. Either way, kill Mistress Celeboodle fast, since she hits hard, has almost no HP, and pays well. Fire the cat cannon whenever Nyandam is about to attack, because it resets his swing.

Each Cyberhorn: meatshields first
When a Cyberhorn reaches your line, send everything you can afford except Crazed Bahamut, and keep all four meatshields coming. The order is meatshields, then crowd control, then attackers. Don't worry when the Cyberhorn chews through meatshields quickly. As long as the stream doesn't stop, he barely moves, and the Celeboodles keep refilling your wallet. Paris Cat, Mother Cat and Crazed Whale are expensive, so use the cheaper units first. When Nyandam winds up, send only one cheap unit so nothing new walks into the hit, then resume once he has swung.

The pairs are what Bahamut is for
At 3:20 two Cyberhorns arrive together, and that's the moment to send Crazed Bahamut. Keep your meatshields up, try to keep a gap between your army and Nyandam, and bring the rest in gradually behind Bahamut. Money gets tight here. Keep the meatshields going and stick to Macho Legs and, when you can afford it, Crazed Whale, or Neo Psychocat if you have it, which is more cost-efficient. Once that pair is gone, spam everything. Another pair comes at 5:33, and the same rule applies. After the pairs, the fight is won.

The wiki's plan, and this one
The wiki takes a different route through the same fight: stall the Cyberhorns with Slow and Freeze (Neo Psychocat, Castaway Cat), bring Wheel Cat for damage, use two or three meatshields, and send units with the same meatshields-first priority. Both plans rely on the Cyberhorns' tiny range and slow speed. This one uses bodies and Bahamut instead of debuffers, because it assumes no capsule units. If you do own the debuffers, put them in the Whale Cat slot and the stage gets much easier.

Capsule units that help
Paris Cat belongs in the lineup if you have her: she's far better than Mother Cat here. Neo Psychocat Slows Aliens from 365 range, and Castaway Cat Freezes them with an area attack. Either one stalls a Cyberhorn much more cheaply than a stream of meatshields. Wheel Cat deals massive damage to Aliens. Any big anti-Alien Uber can take Dragon Cat's slot.
THE SHORT VERSIONAqua Crystal at Superior first. Take the start with cheap units, cannon or Sniper Nyandam's swings, and meet every Cyberhorn with a nonstop stream of all four meatshields. Save Crazed Bahamut for the Cyberhorn pairs at 3:20 and 5:33. Put Neo Psychocat or Castaway Cat in the Whale Cat slot if you have them.
In Chapter 2, Jackie Peng and Croco are the hardest-scaled at 1,000%. The boss, Galactic Overseer Nyandam, is at 100%. Compared with Chapter 1, Galactic Overseer Nyandam, Croco, Kroxo, Mistress Celeboodle and Cyberhorn are new, and Snache, Those Guys, Sir Seal, Helmut Krabbe, I.M. Phace and Imperator Sael are gone. The enemy base has 300,000 HP here, against 250,000 in Chapter 1 and 400,000 in Chapter 3.

Alien variant of Dark Emperor Nyandam and the boss of The Great Abyss in Into the Future Chapter 2. He has long range (600), heavy hits, and a moderate chance to Slow your cats, which makes the fight longer than against his other variants.
⚙ Trait counters worked out from the roster — the guide's plan doesn't need them; kept for reference
Galactic Overseer Nyandam is Alien. Anti-Alien units take less damage and deal more.
Galactic Overseer Nyandam reaches 600 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Galactic Overseer Nyandam has a deep HP pool (144,444+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
7 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
